SINKHOLES:

If you have ever been to Whitecliff Cave in Ocala, you may notice a retention pond close by. We had a lot of rain in 2012 and that retention pond did its work by filling up with water. On June 25, a mother just happened to be standing close by when three sinkholes opened and drained the pond. There was a 400 foot solid cave at the bottom of the main sinkhole, which was latter filled in.
