6-01-03 PONTIAC PIT
Photos By Sean Roberts After a day of digging and ridgewalking around south west Ocala, Adam, Brian and Sean decided to check out Pontiac Pit. They did the through trip from the sinkhole to the Fern Pit entrance. Of course this scared the poop out of Brian because the "cave" is actually just some voids in the bottom of the sinkhole. The sink takes tons of water as you can see from all the sand and logs in the photos below. The cave blows major air and it has potential for HUGE cave.
