SERA Cave Carnival 2003

This year's SERA was hosted by the Tennessee
Central Basin Grotto and was held in Rock Island, TN.
Stephanie, Caitlyn and I arrived bright and early Friday morning - real early, we were actually
the first to register. First come, first serve, so we had our pick of campsites and found
the best one about 50' from the vendors hot showers, and food. Bruce Brewer was the next to
show, followed by Sarah and Bjarne, then Bill Birdsall, Danny and Annette, the Roberts Family,
and then Adam and Corey. Our campsite was large enough to accommodate everyone. Other Florida
cavers to attend the event were Allen Mosler, Jeff and Tyson, Josh and Jason, and Jay and
Sue Landt.
Of course it rained - hard. My tent leaked so bad that we stayed in
a hotel Saturday night. Check the bottom pictures, this field was
full of tents when we left Saturday night and by Sunday morning I
guess they had all floated down to the river.
