Meetings - General Info
The FSS meets at 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of each month in Building 203, room CG-41 of the J. Hillis Miller Health Science Center on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, Fl. A map of Gainesville is available to find campus, and a map of the University of Florida is available for finding the building. The J. Hillis Miller building is in the Shands hospital complex just off Archer Road. We also meet at a members home once a month for good company, good food and rope climbing practice. Send us an E-mail if you would like directions to get there. Everyone is welcome to attend. This meeting/get-together is entirely INFORMAL! (BYOB) :-)  Regular Meetings
The next FSS meeting is Thursday, February 11th in CG-41. Meetings are at 7:30pm and last about an hour and a half. The location changes every semester, so check back often. Monthly Get Together
The next get together will be at Catacombs Cave in Marion County on Sunday, Jan. 31st. The landowner is in some need of yard and stone work, so the get together will be a work/cave day. The first part of the day will be spent above ground and the second part will be spent in the cave. Catacombs is the longest "mapped" cave in Marion County. |
